Impact
Economic impact:
The Digital Transformation Laboratories project will create at least 120 digital applications and technologies that will benefit all the secretariats and decentralized bodies of the Government of the State of Campeche. It will also train 1,500 final-year students in cutting-edge technologies, 13,465 teachers in Artificial Intelligence for Education and 3,000 civil servants in Artificial Intelligence for Administration.
It will save around 800 million pesos in government digitization and contribute to the fulfillment of 15 of the Sustainable Development Goals.
With the Digital Transformation Laboratories, the Government of Campeche will have sufficient and certified human resources to digitize the entire administration and its services.
Social impact:
Higher education institutions will have Digital Transformation Laboratories with the most advanced technology in terms of Digital Transformation and a certification system shared with the government and technology companies.
Students will receive courses and updates in cutting-edge technologies that will be certified. This will enhance their skills and ensure they receive a better salary when they enter the workforce.
The projects will generate groups of students who may become technology-based creative
enterprises.
Environmental impact
The country´s citizens will enter the Digital Economy, in rural areas, the use of the internet will rise consistently, as will the percentage of older people who use it, and more students will be able to connect their computers and cell phones to the internet and will have a better technological education, they will be able to use banking and government services more confidently through their devices, they will have better public security and more coordination with mobility systems, they will also improve cultural services and buy and sell their products online, they will have better social programs and more information that will allow them to plant better, they will know more about the environment and take better care of the plants and animals that inhabit the state.
